Welcome to Old Weird Dad's Blog
I suppose a lot of people, as they get older, start doing some reminiscing, digging through the past. That is part of what I want to share here. My mother had all kinds of interesting stories about her life; I tried to get her to write them down, but now they are gone forever - except for what I can remember second hand.
So this little corner of cyberspace will be part memoirs, part political ranting, some family stuff, current things we are doing. But mainly, I think, I just want to cuss the Democrats and ramble on about the way things were. These are the forces that conspired with what God put in the DNA to make me Old Weird Dad.
Maybe this will give my sons and grandchildren some appreciation for what it was like living in another time.
